How to deal with a wet phone?

If your phone gets wet, don't panic yet.  There may still be hope!!!

         Check out the following tips:

  • Remove the phone from the source of water
  •           Switch it off
  •            Dismantle the phone by removing battery, SIM and memory cards (only SIM card in case of a phone with an irremovable battery).
  •          Dry each component as best as you can with a towel until the phone is dry to the touch.
  •          Put all components in a bowl of uncooked rice ensuring that all components are totally covered.
  •          Leave it there for 12-24 hours.
