The Nokia Lumia 930, while still
far from being the # 1 phone on the market, is considered as one of the best built Windows phones currently available.
It runs on the latest version of
Windows 8.1 and includes the Clear Black display feature designed to increase
the contrast between the Windows app tiles and the background.
In keeping with Nokia tradition,
the phone boasts of a rigid and sturdy design
that can survive the rare drop to the floor without any significant damage. The
body is made of both a glass front and a polycarbonate backing, separated by an
aluminum band.
Though the Windows phone cannot
compete with either Apple or Android operating systems when it comes to Apps, continuous
improvements are being made in that area.
